5 Photoshop TRICKS in 90 SECONDS!! Useful Tricks That You Probably Don’t Know

In this video, I’m going to show you five
Photoshop tricks in 90 seconds. Hi, Jesus Ramirez here, from the Photoshop Training Channel. I this video,
I’m going to show you five Photoshop tricks that you probably don’t know in under 90
seconds. Let’s get started with selecting colors
from other applications. With the Eyedropper tool, you can select colors
from outside of Photoshop. Move the photoshop application frame to the
side. Click inside the canvas and drag to another
application to select any color that you like. You can open the same document in two windows
to work both on details and the overall all image at the same time. Go to Window>Arrange>“New Window for”
and the name of the document. Then go to Window>Arrange>Two up Vertical. Zoom in on one tab. And any adjustments that you make will be
reflected on both windows. To refine a selection or a mask you can use
the Select and Mask Workspace. If you prefer the old Refine Edge dialog box,
hold Shift, then go into Select>Select and Mask while you have a mask or selection active
to bring it back. The Black and White adjustment layer creates
black and white images. The sliders in the Properties panel control
the luminosity of the original colors. If you change the Blending Mode to Luminosity,
the color returns, and you can use the sliders to control the luminosity of those colors. In Photoshop CC 2015 and newer, you convert
a Photoshop document into a Photoshop template file by changing the file extension from PSD
to PSDT. When you open the template file, you will
open a new instance of that document, and you cannot change or override the original
file. To edit a template file, change it back to
a PSD. And that’s it! 5 Photoshop Tricks in under 90 seconds. Let me know which one was your favorite trick,
and leave a comment down below with your most useful Photoshop trick not shown in this video. Don’t forget to subscribe and to click on
that notification button! Thanks so much for watching, and I’ll see
you at the next tutorial!

  8. I love this and I'm so glad I found you. In the future, could you do any tutorials for those of us who make animated gifs for ..say…for example……Tumblr. We know how to make animated .gifs, we know about adjustment layers and timelines but there is so much more we don't know. If you wd like examples, I'd be happy to give you at least ten. I hope you say yes. But I look forward to your next tutorial (even if its not a semi-advanced one on animated .gifs), I like your style and I like your way of illustrating what you're talking about. Although for us dullards in the U.S., maybe you could slow down in speech a little? I'm from NYC and you talk very fast even for me!

  9. I cant sample color outside of Photoshop anymore…I used to do it before. I cant anymore. Ive seen tens of videos trying to figure out why it doesnt work anymore for me. Ive also looked for tens of threads even on Adobes official site and nothing…and Im not the only one, a lot of people have this issue. Does anyone know why its not working for a lot of people? (I dont have a second monitor which is one of the reasons why it doesnt work often)…can anybody not tell me how to do it, just tell me why cant I do it anymore and why? I already reset preferences…still not working…
