Managed printing – Active Directory or LDAP synchronization for secure print release

Click the SETTINGS icon in the top right corner of the Sentinel interface Click on the DATABASES tab Make sure that USER LDAP TO GET USERS FROM ACTIVE DIRECTORY is selected Fill in the name of the Domain you wish to sychronise with Please enter the name of an empty Active Directory profile field in ID FIELD NAME (eg: Pager) Enter AD USER – domain administrator user name Enter AD password – domain administrator user password Click TEST SMTP CONNECTION – in order to verify connectivity to the Active Directory domain If the settings are correct – you will receive a confirmation. If an error appears here – please verify the domain credentials and try again Click SAVE to apply the settings Congratulations, you have now successfully configured Sentinel to synchronize with Active Directory
